Hello fellow food and wine lovers... If you love Bastille...you'll love this:

Taking place at the Constantia Uitsig Cricket Oval from the 4th until the 6th of May 2012, the Constantia Food and Wine Festival will be showcasing over 40 different wines and an array of mouth watering dishes from the vineyards and restaurants in this region...

The vision for this event is to become a much anticipated annual highlight
on the food and wine calendar in Cape Town.  As the Constantia Valley is a
small wine area relative to other areas, organizers have designed and styled the
event to showcase the exclusive and upmarket nature of the Constantia
Valley.  We can also look forward to some fantastic live entertainment and for those with kids, an amazing creative kiddies entertainment space.

A bit more from the organizers:

1)    Kiddies Entertainment:
-    Kiddies can do creative art jamming where they will splash paint
onto canvasses. We will then be donating these canvases to various
children's homes and schools in the area and to The Constantia Primary
School, which is our chosen charity for this event

-    Kiddies Rides: for ages 6 and under
-    Kiddies Toys
-    The cricket oval is a beautiful open space for children to run and
play

2)    Live Entertainment
-    Friday 4th May:
        Me & Mr Brown- 18:00 - 20:00
        Kubu Strings: 12:00 - 17:00

surroundings and live music with family and friends.

What wines will be tickling our tastebuds?
